Valentine's Day

This is one of the blockbusters that Hollywood claims to be set to overtake the box office by storm.
Well, for me it is one for movies for selection during the Chinese New Year.
Not much to choose based on the variety during this season. I would rather watch "When in Rome" or "Dear John" if they are shown in the cinema a week earlier. Given there is nothing to do during the festive period but to dear nice nice and eat, this is the alternative.
It's being said to be adapted from the English movie, "Love, Actually" where a star-studded cast is a pre-requisite.
Similarly " Valentine's Day" is full of celebrities from Hollywood Hilltop.
Julia Roberts, Jessica Alba, Jennifer Garner, Anne Hathaway, Ashton Kutcher, Emma Roberts, Bradley Cooper Taylor Lautner, Taylor Swift....
Oh by the way, Taylor Swift can act well beside her singing talent.
This movie is shift forward by human network and relationships and what happens to their love life on this very special and most often than not, commercial day.
How most of the time they get cheated, fall for the non-commitment types and eventually find that well the success formula is to marry someone who is your pal. Minimise risk and increase the success of getting married.
hmmm...
On the whole not bad, but I still prefer the original "Love Actually".
